Oakwood Center is co-owned and managed by Oakwood Ventures, LLC, a locally owned and operated commercial development and property management firm.

The firm is led by its two owners, John J. Schultz and Dr. Brian D. Novinska, who are both natives of Stevens Point. Schultz is a local financial advisor who has 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, and Dr. Novinska is an anesthesiologist. Schultz and Novinska are graduates of SPASH.

John "Trapper" Schultz, father of John J. Schultz, is the general manager of Oakwood Ventures and oversees its day-to-day operations. Schultz is a retired military professional who specialized in property accountability and budget control while in the service.

Oakwood Center began as an initiative led by John J. Schultz, Dr. Novinska and a group of local investors to bring a unique business and professional campus opportunity to Central Wisconsin. The idea was inspired by the goal of supporting local businesses to help facilitate economic growth in the area.

Through the continued growth of Oakwood Center, Schultz, Dr. Novinska and the development’s investors are committed to ensuring the success of its new small businesses and established businesses alike.
